What’s Your Access to Today’s Entrepreneurial Tools?

For want of the IPO, the decades newest Unicorn was lost. And all for the want of the appropriate tools.

Recently, as I completed my daily scan for interesting and relevant articles posted in my LinkedIn Groups, I came across the following old proverb shared as a “Thought for the day …”

For the Want of a Nail

“For want of a nail the shoe was lost.

For want of a shoe the horse was lost.

For want of a horse the rider was lost.

For want of a rider the message was lost.

For want of a message the battle was lost.

For want of a battle the kingdom was lost.

And all for the want of a nail.

What is the nail that it could lose your kingdom?”

After a pause, I realized how much truth this old proverb has, even in today’s modern and complex world. As a result, I decided to re-cast it to the entrepreneurial world, the ecosystem I passionately participate in today. Following is my recast “Thought for the day …” for today’s entrepreneur…

For want of time, the quest for appropriate tools was lost.

For want of appropriate tools, attention to detail was lost.

For want of attention to detail, a strong pitch package was lost.

For want of a strong pitch package, the pitch opportunity was lost.

For want of a pitch opportunity, the funding opportunity was lost.

For want of the funding opportunity, the startup was lost.

For want of the startup, the IPO was lost.

For want of the IPO, the decades newest Unicorn was lost.

And all for the want of the appropriate tools.

What are the appropriate tools that they could lose your Unicorn?

The appropriate entrepreneurial tools are now available to the entrepreneur without spending significant time to research them and their locations on the “world wide web”.  The TurboFunder “Beta Version” officially launched on April 15, 2016! It provides the entrepreneur all the tools they will require to create a strong pitch and comprehensive funding package for their potential investors. It also enables the provision of the results or output of these tools to the investor in a concise easy to use framework.turbofunder logo

The need for there to be an entrepreneur’s want for time, resulting in their quest for the appropriate tools being lost, is now a thing of the past.
